First run through runorder
Link to this headingHow to get started from day one — set up your organisation, create your first production, and invite the team. Plan for about 30 minutes; work through the articles in order and the rest of runorder gets much easier to read.
About these docs
BASEHow the runorder documentation is organised, who each section is for, and how to find what you need.
Dashboard
BASEThe landing page after you sign in. Its widgets answer one question — what needs attention today: your week, your next event, timesheets waiting on you. Your role sets the starting point, and you choose what shows and in what order.
Your first week with runorder
BASEA checklist for new admins and planners — from an empty setup to a working plan with rooms, people, and a production.
Search
BASEGlobal search across productions, events, people, groups and drafts. Press "/" anywhere to open it. You only ever see what you have access to, and admins decide what gets indexed.
Setting up your organisation
BASEConfigure organisation details, rooms, event types, work types, and seasons — in the order the rest of runorder expects.
Creating your first production
BASECreate a production — title, dates, venue, and colour — and place the first events on the planner using templates.
Bringing your team in
BASECreate people with an account name and email, give them the right role — Admin, Manager, or User — and understand what it takes before they can sign in.
404 — not on the running order
