Files
Files is the overview of everything uploaded — contracts, images, attachments on productions — and the settings that decide where it is stored.
Most people never need this page. It is here for when space runs out, or when something needs tidying.
Save locations
Link to this headingBy default images go to Cloudflare Images where it is set up, and everything else to Cloudflare R2. You can override this per file kind, or leave it on Default.
Usage and quota
Link to this headingUsage shows file counts and bytes, both By kind and By parent type, so you can see what is actually filling up.
Under Storage quota you set an Org cap (bytes) for the whole organisation. Left empty, storage is unlimited. Per-production limits are set on each production’s own Settings tab, and an upload is refused if it would push usage past any of the limits.
Lowering the cap deletes nothing. It only stops future uploads.
Sweeping orphan files
Link to this headingAn orphan is a file row whose production, person, event, draft or project has been deleted. Rows like that linger on their own, and Scan for orphans finds them.
Scanning changes nothing. Deleting is a separate step, and it removes both the row and the file itself at the storage provider. Files that have only just been orphaned are held back for a while in case an upload is still in flight.
Image diagnostic
Link to this headingRun diagnostic uploads a small test image, fetches it back through the delivery URL, and deletes it again. You are told which step failed, if any.
It is worth running after setting up image delivery: if that is misconfigured, uploads fall back to R2 silently, and nobody notices until images fail to appear where they should.
